"Many years ago,Rev.Yong-jun An wrote a book, The Atomic Bomb of Love,(The Seed Must Die in English) about my two brothers and my father who were martyred. It moved many Christians worldwide and later was translated into five languages as well as made into a motion picture. But I've felt that parts of this book were not exactly true, and important informaton about my family  was lacking. For many years, I felt that I needed to reveal the detailed truth about our situation during that time. I wanted to record the unexaggerated facts about my own family whom I knew so well."

He was tortured and suffered in Japanese prison for five years due to his refusal to worship the Shinto gods. He forgave and adopted a young Communist who killed both of his sons. Furthermore, he spent all of his life ministering to lepers. He truly was a disciple who followed the Lord even at the cost of his own life.
