You cannot be a good soldier even if you have an excellent strategy for battle.
If you retreat and yield, in this battle you are already lost.
There should be no retreat in living spiritual life and the life of faith.
This is a battle whether my soul and souls of whom we are in charge, live or die forever.

프롤로그 / PROLOGUE

I have worked diligently to follow through with my commitment to dedicate my life to the salvation of poor souls for God. The main focus of my ministry was, “How can I become a good soldier of Christ in front of God? How can I discern the numerous obstacles that hinder my spiritual life?”
A soldier is not deemed “good” just for entering into battle. A good soldier must have the ability to know who the enemy is, what capabilities the enemy has, and must grasp the enemy’s strategies to respond accordingly. We are living in fierce spiritual warfare. In the battle against the evil spirits, a good soldier firmly protects his soul and saves the souls of others from the enemy.
The Lord came to this earth as a fierce soldier to save our spirits from the sins of Adam and the endless desires of the body and the devil’s works. Jesus came to destroy the wickedness and curses, and lifted the victory flag through the cross and resurrection, and delivered us from sin. He confirmed this truth in every believer by the Holy Spirit. Just as the Lord lived a victorious life, He wants His soldiers to live the same triumphant life.
The Lord said, “Anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these.” However, in reality, many Christians live like losers of spiritual war. It is a bigger shame that they are not even aware of the defeat. This is because they do not know the true nature of the enemy that is bothering their spiritual life.
This book pinpoints to which the enemy is that we must overcome, and describes in detail how we must fight in order to win the battle. I hope that all the readers of this book recognize the identity of the enemy and become victorious soldiers in their spiritual battles.
By God’s grace, it has already been 24 years since the book was first published in 1988. I am publishing this newest edition in the hope that every reader will be triumphant in the spiritual battles of their lives. I would like to thank God and give Him all the glory and honor for His guidance.
