The Bible as God¡¯s word is the covenant word. The covenant is the promise that the covenant God has given to His people for His togetherness with them. Thus, the Bible is the word that the covenant people keep for being together with the covenant God. The Christians as the covenant people have been unveiled into the world with the fulfillment of the covenant God¡¯s promise. The Christians live the covenant life of being together with the covenant God.

Therefore, God's word should be heard or read with His togetherness. In this respect, His word has to be 'meditated' from the perspective of His togetherness. His word is not floating like man's word but pivoted with His togetherness. His word is the word of His togetherness.

God¡¯s word is recognized by the word of life rather than theword of being. That¡¯s why in the Bible, "God is life," or "God islove" appears, But there is no remark, like "God is Being" in it.The word of life is disclosure of life, but the word of being represents, being. "Being" is not a covenant word.

But the Gospel of John narrates Jesus as life. His teaching and working are not narrated as what He does but narrated as what is unfolded by His life. ...The narrative of Jesus as life begins with His togetherness with God. Therefore, with Him life of togetherness can be expounded and fulfilled. It grows in the world because He was incarnated and crucified. The crucifixion of the incarnated life is like the death of a grain of wheat that has fallen into the ground.

Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the phrase ¡°the word of God¡± has only symbolic meaning. Even if the Bible is affirmed as the word of God, there is no way to confirm that it is the word of God if it is read without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the word of God cannot be separated from the word of man. ¡¦ The guidance of the Holy Spirit is practical, since the life of Jesus in the world was practical. The life of the following of Him with the guidance of the Holy Spirit should be practical, since His way to the cross was practical. The fulfillment of Spirituality wears practicality in the world.
